Mobile medical aid in northern Nicaragua
A non-profit association that ensures basic healthcare and supports local Brigadistas in rural communities.
Nicaragua Projekt e.V. supports a mobile clinic, accompanies 14 local Brigadistas and strengthens healthcare in 11 villages in northern Nicaragua — long-term and structured.
In remote regions of northern Nicaragua, the nearest health facility is often far away. Regular care is lacking, especially for families in rural communities.
Our work addresses exactly this gap: structured, long-term, and locally rooted.
Regular medical consultations directly in villages provide access to basic healthcare.
14 trained health workers ensure basic care on the ground and support their communities long-term.
Health knowledge empowers families in the long run and helps bridge everyday gaps in care.
Continuous care instead of one-off interventions creates reliable structures on the ground.
Your donation enables continuous medical care in remote communities — structured, transparent, and long-term.
Women and girls often bear the responsibility for family and health. Our work strengthens their medical care, knowledge, and confidence in everyday life.
This creates stability that goes beyond individual treatments.
After the logistically driven withdrawal of German Doctors e.V., we are now supported by a non-profit organization in the USA and private donors in providing medical and social aid in cooperation with our Nicaraguan partners.
External recognition
