Healthcare is not a given

In remote regions of northern Nicaragua, the nearest health facility is often far away. Regular care is lacking, especially for families in rural communities.

Our work addresses exactly this gap: structured, long-term, and locally rooted.

Special focus on girls and women

Women and girls often bear the responsibility for family and health. Our work strengthens their medical care, knowledge, and confidence in everyday life.

This creates stability that goes beyond individual treatments.

Transparency and structure

  • Registered non-profit association (VR 1520 BHV)
  • Clear organizational structure based in Germany
  • Local implementation with dedicated contacts
  • Regular reporting on project activities
  • Donations are tax-deductible — donation receipts available on request

After the logistically driven withdrawal of German Doctors e.V., we are now supported by a non-profit organization in the USA and private donors in providing medical and social aid in cooperation with our Nicaraguan partners.
